Snow Canyon JV Football 2013

This football season has been a great one.  Jason loved coaching for Snow Canyon and got the opportunity to coach with his brother Dustin.  Dustin was head JV Coach.  The way the season turned out was that they were the only 2 coaches for the JV team.  Jason also got to help out with the varsity on the box. They got a new head coach, Marcus Matua and had to learn all new schemes for offense and defense. They had a great season!

Caleb also played this season for the very first time on JV as #60. He played mostly on kick-offs.  He enjoyed making new friends and doing something new. I am not sure he will play again next year though.  He didn't really want to study the plays :)  Mom was also a nervous wreck with him on the field but he survived without injury.

I love my coach! Jason spent a lot of time with the team in the early mornings, with practice after school, at games, at team night on Tuesday nights and at coaching meetings on Sunday nights but it was worth it. He loves coaching and I love that he loves it.  My butt and back might have been a little sore with this pregnant body but I wouldn't miss a game if I could help it.

Varsity had a winning season so they had a playoff game at home vs Tooele on November 1st and they won! I kind of feel a little guilty because I won't let Jason go to the next playoff game next week at Juan Diego. I just don't want to have a baby without him :)
