Pregnancy: Week 39

I am 39 weeks pregnant and hanging in there. No really, I am doing well.  I had my appointment with Dr. Benham on November 12th.  My cervix was 80% thinned without any dilation.  He decided to manually dilate me and got it to 1cm.  Baby did not like it one bit and kept kicking the doctor when he was pressing on him.  My uterus measured at 39.5.  The doctor thinks I will go past my due date.  I am thinking so too. I am not sure he is ready to come just yet. We have had all of our bags packed and the car seat in the car for a while now. When we go somewhere, we make sure we have everything ready. Maybe we are too prepared so he isn't coming? :) Oh and we already set up Christmas so we don't have to deal with doing it after baby comes.
