In preparation for the Election, I was helping my mom in her office on November 5th when I cut my left pinky finger really bad with a pair of scissors. I was cutting a pretty thick zip tie and I have no idea how my left hand got anywhere near the scissors. I quickly grabbed some tissues and wrapped it up and then took a look at it. I told my mom I cut my finger and that I would need stitches. She was on her last string with the stress of the election, so this put her over the edge a little. I told her to call Jason so he could come get me and take me to the InstaCare, but she couldn't even get her phone unlocked. I felt really bad. I was able to call him and he picked me up. By the time I got back to see Dr. McIff, my finger had been bleeding for 45 minutes. It was pretty bad. You could even see little fat globs sticking out, some of which had to be cut out for the stitches. I end up with 5 stitches for 10 days and an awesome bandage.

It felt great to get the stitches out and be able to wash my hands and shower normally! I didn't think it would be that much trouble having it just be the pinky but it was definitely an adventure.
