Blanket for Finnley

I got a text from Leah early on the 6th of August telling me Finnley Ryan was born at 8:40am weighing 6lbs 6oz. According to her due date, he was 4 weeks early. They took him to NICU for observation but he checked out just fine. Congrats Leah & Jason!

I just got the fabric I ordered in the mail for his blanket a couple of days before and was going to get to work on it and have it done by the end of the month. Well those plans changed. I ended up getting it done in just over a day...and with no help. Mom Gough was out of town so I had no one to ask but google.  I sewed it inside out and then turned it, top stitched it and tied it.  To my surprise it turned out pretty good. Jason didn't want me to give it to them. It is super soft and comfy.
