We were planning to celebrate Emma's 5th birthday at Sand Hollow Reservoir...the lake, but I guess plans changed after we talked about it so Jason and I got all sun blocked and ready to head to the lake a bit early to get a spot. As we were getting on the road we called Charity and told her we were headed out there and she said, "Open swim doesn't start until 7." Open swim? Man! I guess the plans got changed to swim at Sand Hollow....the POOL not the lake. So since we were a lot early and had sunblock on...which is useless in an indoor pool....we decided to swim a bit at the pool at our complex. We were pretty disappointed about not being able to go to the lake but we had a good time anyway.
