Memorial Weekend

We made a quick trip to Salt Lake for Memorial weekend. We left Saturday night after Jason got off work.  We had Olive Garden for dinner that night and then headed to the Bolingbroke's for the night.  Mom and Dad Gough were also staying there.

Felicia Douros, Jason's cousin, had her farewell talk on Sunday. She will be serving in Tacoma, Washington.  Her talk was wonderful and made just about everyone cry, even Jason. :) We spent the afternoon at the Douros home and even got to see baby Elizabeth Frost for the first time.  She is recovering well from open heart surgery she had at 3 days old.  She is a trooper.  We also went to a very large cemetery that evening and found the graves of some of the Gough family.

On Monday we went shopping at the new City Center in Salt Lake and found 2 pairs of shoes for Jason at Nordstrom.  We also found 2 other pairs of shoes for him at Nordstrom Rack.  It was a miracle!  We can never find shoes in his size...14W...yes they are skis.  After shopping we met the rest of the family back at the Douros home for a BBQ and some volleyball. It was sad to leave but we had to make it home for Jason's very first coaching meeting.  Info about that will be coming soon....

I have no idea how I didn't take any pictures the entire weekend so this is what you get...
