1st Ultrasound and Dr's Appointment

   On April 1st we had out first Dr's appointment and ultrasound at Southern Utah Women's Health Center with Dr. Benham, the same Dr. Tara goes to.  He is a pretty funny guy and I am sure he has a little bit of ADHD.  He came in and said, "Congratulations on the pregnancy. Oh and by the way, I am Dr. Benham."  He said we were going to get an ultrasound to find the heartbeat and to make sure there is only one in there. Jason's eyes got really huge, I am sure twins never crossed his mind...or mine.
   The ultrasound was a really cool experience, even though it just looked like a little peanut.  As soon as he scanned over the heart, it took our breath away.  Jason said, "Is that the heartbeat!?"  It was really going fast. The Dr. said it was measuring in the 150's.  He measured the size from head to rump and said we were measuring 7 weeks, not 7 weeks and 5 days like my cycle said.  It was a very fast visit and we weren't sure the exact due date, so the nurse had to call and leave me a message on my phone when I was at work.  We are due NOVEMBER 18th!!!  We now just need to find a way to keep our mouths shut until we can tell everyone.
