Leah, Jason and Finnley were able to fly from Florida to visit us for a few days and for Finnley to get blessed with Ava. They flew in late on February 7th. We hung out every evening they were here and had a great time. The blessing was on Saturday the 9th at Colby and Tara's church. Colby blessed Ava and Grandpa Terry blessed Finnley. They were great blessings and such cute little kids. Ava's dress and bow were darling and Finn's little outfit was adorable. We had soups and desserts for dinner afterwards. There were a few casualties in the cultural hall though. Lexie accidentally ran into Jason holding a huge bowl of salad which ended up all over the floor. Surprisingly, none of it ended up on his suit. Gavin also got hit really hard in the face with a basketball and then got ran into and he landed extremely hard on the floor. It was a bit of a rough day for him.
We were extremely happy that Leah, Jason and Finn could visit. We had a great time being together, going out for lunches (Cafe Rio and El Coyote) and cooking delicious meals. Finn is one happy little guy and is extremely quick to smile. I can't believe how fast he is growing and he even has a tooth! We all ended up getting colds while they were here though so that was a bummer. We are counting down the days to our family vacation in California at the end of May. Leah and Finn will get to be there too!
