Valentine's Day 2012

Our Valentine's Day this year was a bit unconventional.  It started off with breakfast in bed before Jason had to leave for school.  He told me to relax in bed and watch movies while he was gone, but a few minutes after he left for Cedar he came back in.  His battery was dead :(  We drove across town to get jumper cables from his dad and then got the battery started. We went Tire Pros and they tested the battery.  We thought it might have had something to do with alternator we had just changed but it didn't. So they sent us away to the battery store.  We figured that since we were already at Tire Pros we would get new tires for my car.  They were really worn out.  The battery place took forever to get the battery out and changed but it was fun to just sit and talk with Jason and by the time they were done I had new tires on my car.

After the car fiasco we went home and had a little bit of lunch and got ready for an early dinner date at Anasazi Grill.  It was delicious!  We had steaks on the rock and they were fabulous.  Dustin and Charity had reservations just after ours so we decided to leave the Manager our debit card number so we could pay for their meal.  We were so excited to hear from them.  We told the manager not to say anything but when Dustin asked if the guy that left the money looked like him he told him yes.  We sat at home and watched Bones for  a while and then they finally called.  The first thing they said was, "You jerk!!!"  It felt really nice to help them out.  So after spending $500 on new tires and having to replace a battery, it turned out to be a wonderful Valentine's Day after all.
